A 16 year old girl had a fall from Scooty 3 months back, had pain, inability to open the knee fully & difficulty in walking since then. Since the girl hails from an eastern state where facilities for operating such complex cases via an arthroscopy are limited they decided to travel to Mumbai for getting operated by Dr Sanjay Singh. On detailed investigation she had displaced fracture of ACL insertion & the displaced bone piece was blocking the knee from opening fully. This was fixed arthroscopically without any metal implants within the joint & with keyhole incisions. Within a month of surgery she has regained full movement & went back to her native place happily.

PS This was a 3 month old injury & needs expertise to bring back the fractured surface back to normal position, in ideal scenario one needs to treat an intra articular injury as early as possible to avoid permanent damage.
